Be Honest With a Ghost

A long time ago, a spirit with a request to dispose of some money, approached a man in the village. The ghost then whisked him away at an alarming speed to where the money was secreted. The man collected the coins, and was whisked back home and told by the ghost to cast them money into the river. The man obliged, but cunningly kept back one guinea in order to have a bit of a drink. As soon as he got to the pub, the ghost reappeared forcing him to throw the last coin in. The disgruntled ghost then told the man that if he had asked for money, rather than being dishonest, he could have had some!
